Career Anchor: The Anchor is a career planning guide developed by the RI Career Resources Network. The publication provides valuable information regarding occupations, education and training opportunities. In addition it includes information on financial aid, the military, disability issues, the economy, and work place trends. The Career Anchor is an excellent resource to use when making career and major decisions.
Planning Job Choices: This publication developed by NACE (The National Association of Colleges and Employers) is a “how-to" guide to the job search. Job Choices includes information relevant to getting and staying employed. The magazine covers resume writing, cover letters, interview preparation, international careers, researching companies, federal employment, navigating job fairs, networking and much more. Read it before your next job search.
