Paying your tuition and fees by the due date

Education is an investment in your future. Assuming personal responsibility for paying your tuition and fees promptly is an integral part of the educational process at CCRI.

If you register early and pay your bill on time, you will have a better opportunity to get into the courses you want. If you register and do not pay on time, you put your preferred schedule at risk and will be dropped for nonpayment. When you are dropped for nonpayment, the courses and/or locations you registered for may no longer be available once you meet your financial obligation.

Paying your tuition and fees by the due date on your bill is your responsibility. Delinquent bills will be reported to national credit bureaus and could possibly damage your credit rating.

It is to your advantage to register and pay for your courses as soon as possible. Staff members in Bursar’s, CCRI’s Advising and Counseling and Enrollment Services offices can inform you about strategies to pay for college. Please plan ahead.

Payment Calendar

Fall 2010

Here is a listing of important money matter dates to refer to for FALL 2010.

CCRI makes every effort to mail bills to students who register during the times indicated in the schedule below. However, if you do not receive a bill, you are still responsible for paying tuition and fees by the specified due dates below. You may confirm your registration and determine your account balance in MyCCRI.

FINANCIAL AID CCRI Financial Aid Award letters are tentatively scheduled to be mailed the week of July 5, 2010 to students who have completed their file and are eligible to receive aid.  Students who receive this letter will have their aid indicated on our second billing that is scheduled for July 15, 2010.  These funds will be applied towards the student's tuition and fees.  If funds are not sufficient to pay their tuition and fees, students will be responsible to pay the balance from their own resources by August 5, 2010.  The college will be mailing award letters on an on-going basis and awards will automatically be posted to the student's account to pay their tuition and fees.

Students are responsible for dropping all classes they are not planning to attend by the published drop deadline. Drop deadlines may vary. Check the current college calendar for the appropriate deadline date. Students will be responsible for payment of all classes remaining on their schedule after the appropriate deadline date.
