Withdrawal Information

Official Withdrawal:  This is used when a student officially withdraws from all courses during weeks three through 10 or two-thirds the length of the course.  A grade of W will be assigned to the withdrawn course(s), it is included in attempted credits but not in the grade point index.   Withdrawing prior to week three is considered a drop, all drop's can be done via the students MyCCRI account.

Students who wish to officially withdraw from ALL registered courses from the Spring or Fall term must complete the Withdrawal Form and submit it to the Student Services / Advising and Counseling Department.  Students who wish to withdraw from the Summer term may do so via their MyCCRI Account.

By signing the withdrawal form, students acknowledge it is past the refund period and that withdrawing from CCRI does not relieve any outstanding financial obligations. Also, The Federal Financial Aid Title IV Refund Policy requires colleges to calculate how much federal aid a student has earned if they withdraw prior to completing more than 60% (April 4, 2016) of the semester. Students may have to return a portion of the aid received, as well as owe the College a portion of the tuition and fees.

Students who wish to withdraw from one or more courses but will remain registered for one or more courses may withdraw from the selected course(es) via their MyCCRI Account. (The withdrawal form is only for complete course withdrawals from the term)

Withdrawal Period
