DSST

(DANTES Subject Standardized Tests)

DSST computer-based exams are now offered at the Community College of Rhode Island.

The DSST program provides the opportunity for people to earn college credit for what they have learned outside of the traditional classroom. Accepted or administered at over 1,900 colleges and universities nationwide and approved by ACE (American Council on Education), the DSST program enables people to use their knowledge acquired outside the classroom to accomplish their educational and professional goals. There is a $30 testing center fee for non-military students in the form of a money order payable to CCRI.

To schedule an appointment, a DSST (Dantes) Registration Form must be completed and received by CCRI at the campus you are planning on taking your test, at least 7 days before the date of the exam. Please see registration form for fees and instructions, be sure to include your school score recipient code on your registration form.  [Read more at the Getcollegecredit.com website]
