Coach Wiley has been involved with all aspects of softball in the State of Rhode Island, as well as on a National level. Beverly has numerous contacts around the state which will be beneficial for recruiting incoming freshmen. Her overall knowledge will be vital to the building of a solid foundation for future success.

Elizabeth Afonso: Assistant Coach

Liz joins head coach Bev Wiley for her sixth year as an assistant coach for the CCRI Women's softball team. Liz brings over 8 years of softball experience on both the high school and amateur levels. She has coached teams to 3 State titles, 4 division titles, I Regional Championship, and a top 10 finish in an ASA National Championship. As a Guidance Counselor, she is familiar with the expectations of the student-athlete and with the several coaching styles that are present at the college level. Liz is a Guidance Counselor at Lincoln High School and holds a Masters Degree from Providence College and a Bachelors Degree from Rhode Island College.

Shelby Dorothyy: Intern
