The Knights were led by freshman guard Josh Williams (Atlanta, GA) while employing their four guard system CCRI led from the opening tip until the final buzzer. In the second half the Caimans began to battle back to close the lead to six points with the score 82-76 with just two minutes remaining. Head Coach Rick Harris commented after the big victory: "I was very pleased with this road win. It is always nice to win on the road. Road victories are hard to come by and especially in New York City. We have to just get back to practice and try to get better for our next game Saturday versus the always strong Nassau Community College squad"

The next games for the Knights will be this weekend as part of the 2018 CCRI Invitational. On Saturday the Knights will face Nassau Community College from Garden City, NY at 7pm and Sunday they will face Genesee Community College from Batavia, NY at 1pm.
