Lady Knights Travel to Lackawanna for District N/O Tournament!

Warwick, R.I. – February 26, 2018: The CCRI Lady Knights basketball team has their sights set on the District N/O Tournament at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA March 3rd and 4th. The seeds for the tournament are as follows: No. 1 seed Falcons of Lackawanna College (25-4), No. 2 seed Owls of Union County College (23-5), No. 3 seed Lady Knights of Community College of Rhode Island (16-11) and the No. 4 seed will be the Bears of Harcum College (19-12). The games will be held at Lackawanna College 500 Jefferson Ave. Scranton, PA. Here is the schedule of games:

Saturday March 3rd

No. 1 seed Lackawanna versus No. 4 seed Harcum at 12noon
No. 2 seed Union County versus No. 3 seed CCRI at 2pm

Sunday March 4th

Winner of Game one versus winner of game two with a 2pm tip-off

The District N/O Tournament will yield two berths to the NJCAA Division II Basketball National Tournament at North Arkansas College in Harrison, Arkansas March 20th-24th. What that means is that both winners from the District Tournament semi-final games will qualify with the tournament champion receiving the higher seed at the National Tournament.
