Warwick, R.I. – April 19, 2017: The CCRI Golf team traveled to Chicopee Country Club in Chicopee, MA to take on Holyoke Community College, Bristol Community College, and Springfield Tech Community College. The Knights shot the best of all four schools, with a 337, earning them three team wins on the day. The Knights had a great showing once again, and improved their record to 6-0 on the season.
The Knights were led by Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI), who shot a 76, only five shots over par. He was followed up by Matt O’Brien (Portsmouth, RI) who shot an 81. Samuel Caron (Cumberland, RI) and Aaron Bento (Seekonk, MA) shot an 85 and 95 respectively, rounding out the scores which counted for the Knights. Taking the top four, Meghan Rocheleau’s (Warwick, RI) 97 did not make the team score but she still shot great.
The Knights tallied a 337, cruising to victory over the other scores. Springfield tech shot a 361, Holyoke shot a 363, and Bristol Community College shot a 370.
The Knights will play again next Tuesday, when they travel back to Chicopee, MA to take on Holyoke Community College.
