Warwick, R.I. – April 14, 2015: In the final game of the series vs Mercyhurst the CCRI Knights baseball team was able to flip the script on the outcomes of the one run games. After losing both games by one run on Saturday, the Knights were able to salvage game three by winning 5-4, another close one run game. The game improves the Knights to 7-7 on the year.

The Knights were led by a good combination of hitting and pitching. PJ Watson (Cheshire, CT) took the mound for the Knights and went six innings, giving up three runs and striking out three. He handed the ball off to Stew Braman (Middletown, RI) who pitched the final three innings and also picked up the win for the Knights.

Sophomore Diego Campos (Providence, RI) had a big day for the Knights going two for four from the plate and knocking in two runs. His day was highlighted by a big two run triple into the left field corner that gave the Knights an early lead. Ryan Rotondo (Warwick, RI), Dave Hopkins (East Greenwich, RI) and Austin Barry (North Kingstown, RI) all had one hit and a RBI each to help the Knights keep their lead.
