Game 3 Orange County CC- 2 Southern Maine CC- 0
Head Coach Liz Afonso commented after the rain-soaked tripleheader “these were two big wins for us. Our offense started slowly in the first game but ended well. In the second game our bats were held in check by a very good pitcher. ‘AO’ (Ashley Olson) showed tremendous leadership in extra innings sacrificing ‘Dev’ (Devin Azulay) to third base, with her offensive skill set she is not often asked to bunt, not only did she doing it willingly but she executed the play perfectly, which is what you expect from your leaders.”
