The Knights received another tremendous pitching effort from Brendan Cabral (Scituate, RI), the big righty scattered three hits over seven innings, walking two, while striking out three Warrior hitters. With his tremendous effort Cabral picked up his second win of the season.
The offense was led by Co-Captain Tom Gavitt (North Stonington, CT) and freshman Dylan Gracia (Middletown, RI). Gracia had two hits and two RBIs and Gavitt broke the game open in the bottom of the third inning with a single to left that drove in two runs. Gavitt came into the game as one of the Knights’ top hitters batting .346 with 28 hits in 81 at bats including 10 doubles, and two home runs with 16 runs scored and team-leading 23 RBIs while Gracia is batting .375 with 24 hits in 64 at bats with nine doubles and a triple with a team-leading 24 runs scored and 11 RBIs.  Also helping the Knights’ offense was John Razzino (Cranston, RI) and Tyler Santaniello (Lincoln, RI) who both produced run scoring singles to add insurance runs and lead the Knights to the 5-1 victory.
The next game for the Knights is today, Wednesday April, 11 when they travel to Wellesley Hills, Ma to play the Buccaneers of Mass Bay Community College at 4:00pm.
