Painting 1
ARTS 2010 - 3 credits
Painting 1 is an introduction to the painting process through
an investigation of theories, materials and techniques. Historical and
contemporary aesthetic issues are explored through studio assignments,
slide lectures, discussions, critiques and museum/gallery visits.
Prerequisite: Drawing 1 ARTS 1001 is required or the permission of the instructor.
ARTS 1020 Color is not required as a prerequisite but strongly recommended.
