CCRI Alumni Association presents a day in Kennebunkport

Kennebunkport Travel to Maine and meet your local guide for a tour of southern Maine's coastal villages of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport.

Enjoy the views at Dock Square in Kennebunkport and follow scenic Ocean Avenue along the Kennebunk River. Drive by the Bush family estate and view Kennebunk beaches and rocky shores. You'll also have a chance to explore the Franciscan Monastery, featuring beautiful gardens and shrines. Hear the legend of the elegant Wedding Cake House and the shipbuilding history of these villages. Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on your own in Dock Square.

In the afternoon, you'll travel to yesteryear and discover the heritage of America's Grand Trolley era at the Seashore Trolley Museum. Take a scenic ride through the Maine countryside on a restored streetcar. Tour through the impressive exhibit barn with trolleys from the National Collection of American Streetcars. In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner at one of Maine's most popular eateries with your choice of lobster, prime rib au jus or cranberry-stuffed chicken.

Cost (per person):
$149, which includes round-trip motor coach, admission to Seashore Trolley Museum, guided tour of Kennebunkport, lobster hat and dinner.

CCRI Knight Campus
in Warwick, 6:30 a.m.

CCRI Flanagan Campus
in Lincoln, 7 a.m.
