Freshman Registration
Prior to attending Freshman Registration, it is strongly encouraged that all students complete Community College of Rhode Island's online orientation. Online orientation is available 24/7. Please follow the directions below to get started.
Online Orientation
Before you start this orientation, you must:
- Apply for admission
- Complete your placement testing. (You'll need your scores when you go through the orientation.)
Your computer needs:

A current version of the free Macromedia Flash player.
You must have version 6.0.79 or higherof the Flash Player or you will have difficulties viewing the orientation. Check and/or upgrade your Flash Player for free - it usually takes less than a minute.
Please Note: We recommend you do not install the Yahoo toolbar option when installing the Flash Player because it will interfere with the the MyCCRI e-mail functions. [Download Flash Player here] -

New Student Orientation
After you complete the on-line Orientation and Freshman Registration, you will be notified about when to attend your New Student Orientation. Information about New Student Orientation can be found at www.ccri.edu/newstudents.
