Books influence each of us in various and
significant ways. They can teach, entertain, challenge,
transport, and amaze. They can change our work lives or our
emotional lives. They can open doors to places uncharted and
transform our perceptions of time and space. What constitutes
a favorite book is personal and what constitutes a list of a
person's five favorites is unique. |
What are your five favorites? |

Please send us a list of the books that
have influenced you, that are important to you, or that you just want to
encourage others to read. Describe in a short paragraph why each
book is special. If you only have three favorites or can't decide
among seven selections, feel free to send us that
information.
Each month, the CCRI Library will publish someone's list of
Five Favorites. During each semester, there will be a book
display with selections from the lists. Your favorites are not in
the library's collection? President Di Pasquale has graciously
agreed to contribute funds to purchase some of your favorites for the
library.
