This fast-growing field presents opportunities for individuals who seek employment in various emergency management capacities This Program is based upon the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) for higher education and is designed to enhance the emergency/disaster management skills and knowledge of police, fire service, hospital personnel, business, security personnel, risk managers, etc.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
NOTE:
Students must be accepted to the Program before enrolling in any Major Requirement courses.

Requirements for Acceptance:
- A completed admission application to the program
- An official copy of high school transcript or GED, including date of graduation.
- Completion of standardized test (Accuplacer) issued by CCRI through the office of Advising and Counseling
- Reading competency of 75 percent or above is required on the reading comprehension test or completion of ENG 0890 with a grade of "B" or better
Program Requirements:
- All courses must be completed with a "C" or better
