Lady Knights Participate in Making Strides Against Cancer Walk

The CCRI Lady Knights basketball team took part in the Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk on October 14th at Roger Williams Park. The Lady Knights did so to support for our Director of Women’s Basketball Operations Alyson St. Amand’s mother Susan St. Amand. Susan won her battle with breast cancer five years ago.

Head Coach Marcus Reilly said: “Being such an important women's issue, an issue promoted by the Women’s Basketball Coaches of America and an issue so close to us and our staff, everyone willingly volunteered their time and effort for such a worthy cause.” He added: "We are proud and focused to support an important human, health issue that affects so many women. It was nice to bring our team and families together in this effort. Our girls represented CCRI well while helping to raise funds in search of a much needed cure"
