Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital and business support services. The program is available across the United States through a network of more than 100 academic and community partners. To date, over 5,500 small business owners have participated and the program continues to expand.
Education for Business Growth
The education program’s curriculum, designed in conjunction with Babson College (the nation’s top-ranked entrepreneurship school), focuses on practical business skills that you can immediately apply to your business, including negotiation, marketing and employee management.
Access to Capital
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is working with BDC Capital, a Rhode Island-based mission driven small business lender, to expand access to capital for local businesses. If your small business lacks access to affordable capital or may not qualify for traditional sources of credit, BDC Capital can help provide both technical assistance and a small business loan. A Network of Support
Through the education program, you will have opportunities to learn from other small business owners, receive expert advice from business professionals, get one-on-one business advising, and join an alumni network following graduation.
